Better than pocket guitar, I give 4 stars because I miss the bass and the chord higjlight! But its PERFECT!!!!

I purchase it 2 days ago expecting something that works properly but It crashes my Iphone 3g..... When the application works, it is very interesting toy but it crashed my iphone 4 times in 6 times I ran the program. I prefer to remove the aplication due to the problems caused... Visiting the developer site, they apologize all users and explain its not a program bug and suggests to "reset" the iphone periodically. I think its not fair pay for a program with a bug.... Im afraid of causing an iphone problem reseting all the time and leaving this program running, so I removed it..... US$ 4 right into the trash!!!!

Definitely $4 too expensive. Playing it is tricky. Not sure if itll be as useful as I was hoping.

Finally I have a usable guitar simulator! Way way better than the "featured" PocketGuitar. Excellent UI. Good for both single-handed and double-handed playing. Not just for 5-second show-off. You can actually play a complete song.

dose not play like a guitar at all a wast of money no string control it feels like your presing a buton mys well be a key board, easer too play. the tabing your song is the only good and semy usfel thing but still vary limited for sixs bucks you get what you pay for i guess want to play a real guitar cary one with you evry warere you go fun to play with,, i guess i was expecting better like, when you tuch the string you can move them and the frets all being the same size is horabule id rather a smaller scaling then all the same size. ok im don ranting. i hope they keep foling with the guitar idea it could be grate like moving up and down the neck could be from the senstrumiter thing and make it feel like just a little guitar and work on the slide sounds um you know make it feel like a guitar.

Amazing app for good price. I play electric guitar and whenever Im not home I just pull my iPhone out and play. Very recommended app for guitar its the best one

it is an awesome app, particularily the tablature feature, and my only slight problem is that its a bit tricky to play some of the notes. totally recommend it tho.

Great app besides a crash here and there. Lots of great options and tools.

Fun to wright your own tabs but the guitars arent the greatest because there is too much echo but over all fun to wright your own songs or to look for tabs on the Internet

Not happy. Seems unplayable to me.

The app itself is perfect. Well written with great features. The sad truth is that its really difficult to play even the simplest chords in fret mode. This is not to say the developer did something wrong, just a reminder that this is not even close to a substitute for a real guitar.

I will admit its a fun little gaget, id recomend it to all the righties out there, but for lefties like me its not much fun at all.

This is a good solid app with many cool features, the manual and hammer on features are a little difficult to play but what do you expect for a 3 inch screen! i favor the tab feature which lets you enter in your own tab and then play at back by tapping on the screen. I hope that in future updates they will add features to the tab like hammer ons, pull offs, vibretos and slides from fret to fret etc.I enjoy to use this app and was happy to have bought it.

definitely a fun little gizmo to play around with, but i have trouble envisioning myself using this as an instrument for either studio purposes or live permormance. as far as the chords go, the interface difficult to use for a chord reference. The one useful tool i found was the tab feature. it is great for when you dont have a guitar around and still feel like writing, however it is still quite tedious, and there are no alternate tunings available.

Very nicely done. Great value for the money @2.99. It needs adjustable frets positions and be "bend" capable to be a five star app. UPDATE: I changed my rating to five stars. Now you can adjust number of visible frets. I am finally able to play chords. Bending is also posible! Thank you!

It would be nice if your were able to push more than one string down with one finger, like when bar chords are used. Other than that great app.

Great app with outstanding features. I enjoy writing my own tabs or soloing over a preloaded track. I would rate it 5 stars if it didnt crash every so often

Guitar emulation at its best right here. Although missing a "Chord Play" style mode, Guitarist offers the complete fretboard combined with very high quality sounds. It also comes in various patches (sound quality is magnitudes better than the other guitar emulators out there). The tab mode is probably the best of its kind in helping musicians wrting songs on the road. You can select the exact tabs or chords you want and enter it into a file guitar tabuture style. The possibilties are endless. You can instantly playback your preprogrammed song right here! update: Since the latest update with the wah wah effects, there has been some issues. I setup my Guitar2 to be my electric, and while I do appreciate the effect, the accelerometer is way too sensitive and everytime when I try to turn it off the phone would crash, freeze, or not remember the settings. This was a major disappointment. I much rather have not updated. I have also noticed a bug while playing with Guitar1(using Acoustic2) in manual mode: Sometimes the frets get stuck randomly. It happens once in a while. I havent seen this happened in the past but a simple tap to the Tab button on the lower left fixes this. 4/5 instead of 5/5 until the issues get resolved.
